EUROPEAN DUAL CAREER TOOLKIT PRESENTED IN CZECH REPUBLIC
From 7 to 9 September 2022, the Faculty of Sport Sciences of Masaryk University in cooperation with the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Zagreb organised the 13th International Conference on Kinanthropology: Sport and Quality of Life in Brno. STARTING 11 was part of the programme.
The scientific conference has been organised since 2006 and serves to exchange experiences and mutual knowledge between experts in the field of sports science worldwide.
The event concluded with a fruitful panel discussion, chaired by STARTING 11 project member Martin Santelmann (adh), and including former world-class athletes Jana Simerská and Ondřej Moravec. They shared experiences and challenges of their personal dual careers.
Martin Santelmann then introduced the European Dual Career Toolkit to the audience; a resource for broader and better provision of athlete support services. In particular, the tools Value Cards, Super Powers and Policy Push gained interest of the Czech public.
