Registration & Fee

You can register for the STARTING 11 Conference here. The registration deadline is 8 May 2022. Please note that tickets are limited. Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, the conference is free of charge.

Conference location

Amsterdam Olympic Stadium, Olympisch Stadion 2, 1076 DE Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Enter the stadium at the main entrance. Our organizing team will not let you miss your place-to-be.

Directions & public transport

ARRIVAL BY PLANE at Schiphol Airport

Bus: 29 minutes. Take GVB-Line 15 and leave at the stop “Olympiaweg” or Connexxion 347 and leave at the stop “Olympisch Stadion”.

Taxi: 10 minutes. Take a taxi at the official Schiphol Taxi rank in front of the Schiphol Plaza door. Anticipate a fee of approximately 30,00-40,00 Euro.

Tram: 20 Minutes. Take the line 16 or 24 and leave at the stop “Olympisch Stadion”.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN at Centraal Station

Metro: 25 min. Take Nr. 52 towards Station Zuid. Leave at stop “Vijzel gracht”. Take Nr. 24 towards VU-MC. Leave at stop “Olympisch Stadion”.

Bus: 25 min. Take GVB-Line 51 towards “Isolatorweg”. Leave at stop “Amstelveense weg”. Take GVB-Line 62 towards “Station Lelylaan”. Leave at stop “Olympisch Stadion”.

Tram: 28 min. Take Nr. 24 towards “VU-MC”. Leave at stop “Olympisch Stadion”.

ARRIVAL BY CAR

From the A10 (Zuid “South” ring), take Exit S108. Follow the route marked as “Centrum”. You will see the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium on your left. At the traffic lights, turn left onto “Laan der Hesperiden”. You are now on the direct approach to the parking garage.

Parking Garage: The Olympic Stadium parking garage is open 24 hours. The parking rate is 50 Cents per 9 minutes with a maximum fee of 50,00 Euro per day. Choose the correct entrance: short-term parking (left gate), parking with a subscription (middle gate) or P+R (right gate through the loop). The max. vehicle height is 2.00 metres.

Park & Ride (P+R) at Amsterdam Olympic Stadium: For a visit to the centre of Amsterdam, you can use the transit P+R conditions. It is possible to park for 24 hours for 1 Euro at the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium and then travel to the city centre by public transit. Make sure you are familiar with the terms of this arrangement to avoid unexpected costs. At the parking entrance driveway, select the right gate. If you opt for short-term parking, you cannot use the P+R scheme.

Hotel recommendations

If you fancy an accomodation in direct proximity to the conference location, we recommend to book either Olympic Hotel Amsterdam (see here) or the Twenty Eight Hotel Amsterdam (see here).

More budget-friendly options each with a free shuttle from the airport are the Ibis Budget Hotel Badhoevedorp (see here, take Bus 397 from the hotel to the stadium – 20 min), the Ibis Schiphol Airport (see here, Bus 397 – 20 min), or the Corendon Village Hotel (see here, take Bus 192/194/195 and change to Bus 397 – 27 min).
